Full course description

This course is intended to help faculty and instructors learn to employ generative AI tools to assist them in managing their courses. We will cover the following topics around generative AI:

  • The AI Use Triangle of Safety: Privacy and Data Security, AI Output as Final Product, and Ownership and Transparency
  • Building Familiarity with AI Tools
  • Reviewing and Revising AI Outputs for Credibility, Reliability, Accuracy, and Relevance
  • Using AI Tools to Enhance Course Design
  • Incorporating AI Literacy into your Teaching

The course runs through Fall 2026 semester and is self-paced. There will be opportunities to engage in dialogue with your cohort through discussions.
